A practical, fast-track bootcamp that takes you from “idea” to a defensible study design. Across two evenings, instructors guide you through the building blocks of scientific research, from framing problems and writing sharp research questions, aims, and objectives to selecting an appropriate study design, variables, sampling, and basic analysis planning. Expect short sprints, templates, peer feedback, and clinic time to apply concepts to your own topic.

You will learn to
-
Distill a problem into a clear research question, aim, and aligned objectives
-
Choose a fit-for-purpose study design (experimental, observational, survey, mixed methods)
-
Define population, sampling, variables, measures, and outcomes
-
Map validity, bias, feasibility, ethics, and basic power/sample-size considerations
-
Draft a mini methods blueprint and plan next steps toward data collection
