YOUNG RESEARCHER WORKSHOP FOR HIGH SCHOOL

A hands-on introduction to real science and university-ready skills. Across two evenings at Rafal Tower, Lusail (Doha), Dr. Nouf Mahmoud and Dr. Ayat Hammad guided students to ask sharp research questions, think critically, and collaborate as a team, while introducing the basics of scientific research, study types and how to frame clear research questions and objectives.

AI-POWERED MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS: GLASS AI -WEBINAR

On June 21, 2025, we ran Diagnose Smarter with AI, led by Dr. Lina A. Shehadeh, showcasing real-case walkthroughs and live demos with tools like Glass AI to strengthen differentials and documentation. Participants from 25+ countries learned practical prompts, safety checks, and step-by-step cases.

CROSSTALK LAB participated in Al Ain University’s College of Pharmacy Career Day, delivering a hands-on workshop on the smart and ethical use of AI in research and scientific writing. Participants practiced prompting patterns, literature screening, and building structured outputs with integrity checks.

On 17 March, we hosted a free online webinar led by Dr. Noura Dawwas for students, PhD candidates, researchers, and academics. The session examined the causes of burnout, shared practical recovery tips, and included guided exercises to help participants regain balance.

REVERSE MENTORING EPISODE 2: DESIGN YOUR PERSONAL BRAND WITH CANVA

Feb 12, 2025 — CROSSTALK LAB hosted a free youth-led session with Maria Khamees on building a professional personal brand using Canva. Walkthroughs covered Brand Kit setup, on-brand templates, and content pillars/tone/consistency. Participants left with a starter brand kit and ready-to-use templates; two won 1:1 sessions with Maria.
REVERSE MENTORING PROGRAM EPISODE 2: DESIGN YOUR PERSONAL BRAND WITH CANVA

Jan 8, 2025 — CROSSTALK LAB launched its youth-led Reverse Mentoring with “Level Up Your ChatGPT,” led by Renad. ~200 participants from 20+ countries joined for demos and hands-on practice on prompt frameworks, structured outputs, fast fact-checking, and mini-workflows. Everyone left with a reusable custom prompt; two won 1:1 sessions with Renad.
