  1. Understand key theories, research types, and how to formulate research questions, hypotheses, and objectives.

  2. Learn techniques for identifying gaps in the literature and developing innovative, impactful study concepts.

  3. Apply efficient strategies to read and criticize scientific papers.

  6. Become familiar with the conventions and expectations for proposals, articles, and theses in academia.

  7. Gain best practices for writing each manuscript section: abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussion, and conclusion.

  8. Practice crafting the right graph types, and presenting data so it tells a clear story.

  9. Understand common statistical methods, decide which is appropriate for your data, and draw valid conclusions.
